Enclave House

Projects

BKK extended a heritage home in a tight inner-city site.

The extension is at the rear and looks as if it’s been carved from a solid block – chiselled away to let light into the home.

We added deep reveals (frames) to the upper-floor windows to limit views from neighbouring homes, which brings a sense of cocooning.

The private courtyard garden links the studio space with the main house. We shaped the landscape to frames the views between the two.
