The Charles Grimes Bridge Underpass (CGB) project is a joint undertaking of the City of Melbourne and the Victorian Government’s Department of Planning and Community Development. BKK were invited to present a design proposal. Our strategy for the underpass design involves a process of Attraction (to the gateway and beyond), Playfulness (aural, tactile and visual) and Passage.
