A concept design was undertaken for Cowes and Stony Point in consultation with a broad range of stakeholders including local community groups, Bass Coast and Mornington Peninsula Shires, Parks Victoria and Tourism Victoria. The designs have been conceived as part of a broader precinct plan for both sites to provide for their ongoing sustainability and management into the future. BKK created a proposal for two new vehicular/passenger ferry terminals that will maintain the environmental and social values of each site; preserve and enhance existing recreational uses; preserve heritage values; and improve foreshore amenities, access and safety.
