Australian Centre for Financial Studies Office

The brief for the Australian Centre for Financial Services office fitout was for a high-quality contemporary workspace for 10-12 people, consisting of open plan office, four enclosed offices, breakout space, meeting room, acoustically treated phone booth and tea room.

Efficient and considered planning was required to accommodate all requirements within the 150m² tenancy. BKK prioritised the expansive CBD views and natural light by strategically positioning shared spaces adjacent to the windows. While private offices were shifted away from the façade, they still receive ample natural light through acoustically treated full height glazed partitions.

During the construction period BKK worked closely and collaboratively with the client, builder and consultant team to ensure the design intent was maintained, while addressing complexities encounted on site, particularly in regard to coordination of upgrading services within an existing 1970’s building.

Materials were carefully selected to create a warm and inviting space, through use of timber, tactile fabrics, leather and planting.
