Calder Woodburn Amenities
The Calder Woodburn Rest Area is an iconic public facility on Goulburn Valley Highway. VicRoads’ brief called for a tough piece of urban infrastructure that would encourage drivers to take time to rest during long journeys.
The roof is both shelter and a sign within the landscape, celebrating the culture of the road and breaking up a long journey.
The rest stop plays a vital role in reducing drivers’ fatigue and preventing accidents.
